Why Wakame Seaweed Salad?
I love all things seaweed. If you do it right, and choose the right suppliers, it can really be a low calorie snack or side dish.
It’s not just Wakame seaweed (aka Chuka or Miyeok Julgi Bokkeum in Korean) I love. I also frequently buy dried nori SHEETS – yes sheets, the bond paper looking ones as a snack. As I started to get more and more conscious of salt content, I started buying the smaller sheets instead. Then I first tried this seaweed variant at my fave Japanese resto at the time. Through my 2.5 years of cutting, I always had days I failed to hit my calories (or rather go over it), so I started exploring this religiously. A couple of variants later, here I am… sharing it with people who’d love to try something new.
Walking the talk. Or… biking the bike?
I try to get as much exercise as possible, plus biking around the metro makes it so I can offer deliveries at no cost up to a certain distance.
